Production Quality Engineer
Pearson Electronics is currently seeking a Production Manufacturing Engineer to coordinate the workflow and assist with the overall quality in our production area. This position will be directly involved with multiple aspects of the production floor to include purchasing, quality, and scheduling to produce our wide-band current transformer product line.  The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual with very good organizational skills that is quality focused, flexible, and willing to do a variety of tasks at a small successful electronics company.

Responsibilities:
Understand the concepts of quality control documentation, calibration standards, and how to meet and train to those expectations in a manufacturing environment. Familiar with ISO 9001: 2015 a plus
Familiarize with the company’s product lines and its production requirements
Start and schedule jobs to meet customer deadlines
Ensure adequate material and supplies are in stock to support production
Work with the Purchasing manager to ensure POs are placed for materials and supplies for production
Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly using handheld tools and soldering irons
Purchase tools and supplies to support the production area
Troubleshoot QA problems and assist with quality checks and procedures at the assembly level
Inspect incoming materials and interface between suppliers and purchasing to resolve quality issues
Generate basic reports with MS Excel, Word and MAS 90 accounting software
Work with production manager, QA management, production and sales staff
Assist the sales team with customer technical issues when necessary

Requirements:

High School education required, AA or BS degree in EE/EET/ME preferred
Knowledge and experience with electro-mechanical assembly, test procedures, work instructions, assembly level drawings and other manufacturing documentation is required
Strong PC skills and knowledge of CAD program a plus
Experience working both independently and within a team-oriented environment
Familiarity with test equipment, PCs, and basic assembly tools.  Soldering skills a plus
Knowledge of oscilloscopes, EMI testing, network analyzers and electrical schematics a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A strong attention to detail and must be quality focused

 Sanding/Painting and Mechanical/Electrical Assembler Position

Pearson Electronics is currently seeking an electro-mechanical assembler area to assist with our assembly and sanding-painting operations.  We are looking for someone that enjoys working with their hands and wants to be part of our winning team.  Experience with sanding/painting preparation and the use of various hand tools is preferred, but not required.  We will provide the training.

Responsibilities and requirements:
Electro-mechanical assembly using handheld tools and soldering irons
Good eye-hand coordination when using tools
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Speaking and understanding basic English
Work as a team member in a production environment
Understanding work instructions, assembly level drawings and other manufacturing documentation
The ability to lift 30 pounds
A strong attention to detail and must be quality focused

Compensation: based on experience, paid vacation, holidays, sick-leave, Medical / Dental / 401K
The work environment is a very clean, organized production area of about 20 people.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
